from 10 reviewsA true coffee drinker here. This rich dark roast flavor keeps me focused. There is something about the taste I havnt found elsewhere.
Tried both the Light and Dark blends. I’ve had the ungrounded beans for the aroma, I love waking up to that coffee smell. Its subtle like the package suggests and tastes. When grinded, the taste is rich, dense and delicious. Definitely stimulates the focus I need to keep my day zen and balanced.
I like to think of myself as a coffee snob. I've been drinking coffee since I was 6, part of my culture. I like to gring my own beans and make my coffee right after to ensure it's freshness. I came across this brand and wanted to give it a try and let me just say I am NOT DISAPPOINTED I did. This has to be the perfect roast and taste of coffee I've had thus far. I'll be trying they're dark roast next to compare to my other dark roast favorites. I would recommend this coffee to anyone that know coffee should be drank black.
Dark coffee was my drink of choice. However, I was not a fan of the bitter after-taste or the added brain fog which most dark coffees possessed. As a result, I switched to the riched medium roast coffee I could find and remained a very dissatisfied coffee drinker. Then, I tried the Italian Espresso Dark Roast. WOW - this is the coffee I had been looking for! A beautifully smooth, flavorful, and rich dark coffee with none of that nasty bitter after-taste or annoying brain fog. This Italian Espresso Dark Roast coffee is my favorite coffee and the only coffee I drink at my home. I am such a fan, I have gifted this beautiful coffee to all my family and those friends who enjoy a dark cup of coffee! So, if you enjoy a dark coffee, do yourself a favor and try this Italian Espresso Dark Roast. You will not be disappointed!!
I drink coffee often and i basically run on coffee at work, I bought 2 bags of Italian dark roast to last me a while but I also brought it to work and let my co workers try it. It was so good they wanted me to keep a bag at work, so I left one at work and one for home. This dark roast coffee kept me focused on work while the taste of the bold dark roast flavor kept me sipping.
These are the best! We kept one and gave the other two away in some gift bags to friends. They loved them too. Multitaskers are rare for the kitchen and this is one that you'll use every day. Great design and easy to clean. These golden scoops are a handy way to live that hi life.
See my review of the medium roast (5 stars) and then come back here.
This is my new weekend coffee. I'm usually fasting though the work week and I wont break my fast until later in the day so I drink my coffee black. But I'll treat myself on the weekends with this unparalleled dark roast.
I brew stronger by adding an extra tablespoon for every 6oz. 1oz of half-half and a hard drizzle of homemade caramel make for a great mock latte (if you're not making your own, you're missing out. It's literally sugar and water that you cook for 12 mins. 1 cup of sugar and 1/2 cup of water over low heat. look it up). This 16oz cup of coffee is sweet, roasted, and zero bitter. Also pairs well with vanilla and/or chocolate. My wife likes it with hazelnut creamer.
I did not try to make espresso with this roast yet because I ordered ground instead of whole bean, so I'll pickup there on my next order. Did I mention that the ground coffee still has that "fresh af" thing going for it? Good job with the packaging.
You don't have to have worked as a barista for a year to know that brewing this coffee helps you live the hi life. I'm a fan of light-to-medium roasts that I can drink black, usually Lavazza, and this roast hits every description printed on the side of the bag!
I appreciate that you get a whole pound of ground instead of the 12oz that we're getting shorthanded with at the store.
I like the medium -fine grind of this coffee for my drip coffee machine but I would suggest getting whole beans and doing your own coarse grind if you're going for cold brew. I cold brewed 24 hours in the refrigerator before extracting the grinds and I got some very nice flavors out of this medium roast.
This coffee was smooth, rich, and delicious to the last drop. Far beyond what we expected but so pleased to have picked it up. We are looking forward to grabbing another bag!
I love your coffee! It is the best!
